Momos , originated from Tibet is quite popular among youngster. It is made either from vegetables or by chicken ,mutton chunks. Since kids love this dish so much, it is always great to make it at home. One simply needs to master the technique then you can twist to suit your palate.
Ingredients for vegetable momos: Maida(all purpose flour), baking powder, salt, cabbage, carrot, onion, oil,soy sauce,garlic,black pepper, vinegar.
Preparation Method: Combine maida, baking soda and salt together.Kneed them thoroughly. Put a pan on flame, put oil in it. Now add onion and garlic.Saute them well.Now add carrot and cabbage to it. Let it fry till it becomes glossy . Sprinkle salt, soy sauce, vinegar in it.Mix it well. Take off the pan now.
Now take small and round portions out of the dough.Put the filling inside. Stick the edges properly by twisting it.Steam them for about 10-15 minute. Momos are ready to be served. Serve them with chili sauce, and mayonnaise.
